BassCoast 2016 Recap

Super stoked to get to share some of the best of Bass Coast 2016 in this recap I made as well as some. It features some really stellar music for your eargasm pleasure, including new and unreleased songs by these talented artists!

Longwalkshortdock will be releasing his "Keep It Round" tune from his BassCoast 2016 set this summer incase you're as into it as I am.

Bass Coast Festival​ is an amazing experience because its made by artists for artists. This festival is run by some amazing community superheros that believe in a festival culture asa lifestyle, celebrating the creative mind and allow ourselves ultimate creative expression. Truly be your authentic self and express yourself without fear of judgement as you let loose on the dance floor, your costumes, or whatever you choose to create to add to the Bass world. BassCoast is small enough that there is a community feeling but large enough that there is a great variety of stages, art instalments and vendors. There is a sense of silliness in the air at BassCoast that is loved by all, which also ads to the overall free mindedness, which is a healthy change from modern society for most. Community mindedness and overall appreciation for each other is more in tune within an environment where we are more surrounded in arts culture and we are looking around to appreciate the little details. This culture is so healing in many ways besides just dancing and merriment, it is very much focused on workshop teachings as well. BassCoast is far more than just a music festival, it is a celebration of the finer parts of humanity.

This past year was "Gold" themed, and you will notice many people wearing gold in the video. What you dont know if you havent been is how very puny BassCoast is, and how many cheesy "Golden Years", "Golden memories" and "Gold member" jokes were made. This year being Space Toast themed is going to be pretty amazing and I am very excited to make some more memories with some of my favourite people in the world.

I am so grateful to be a part of this community. It saved my life in many ways and challenges me to grow constantly, which I love. Im very excited to be a part of it again this year, Ill see you all on the dance floor. :)
